Sourcing Manager, Contract Manufacturing (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Conduct supplier analysis to form a strategic sourcing plan.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk, cost, and improve on-time delivery.
• Build and own project budgets; negotiate capex with contract manufacturers.
• Manage the supply base with forecast and clear-to-build model.
• Execute purchasing transactions and MRPs to ensure accurate material flow.
• Develop supplier scorecards and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering, or 9+ years in lieu.
• 1+ year procurement experience in high-volume contract manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of consumer electronics supply chain, capex planning, and negotiations.
• Experience with NPI and mass production with contract manufacturers.
• Travel up to 40%; onsite work required; remote not considered.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning; excellent communication.
