Sourcing Manager, Mechanical Commodities (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Develop and manage supply base for Starlink satellites and subsystems
• Provide weekly team status reporting; escalate to management as needed
• Train and mentor team for continuous improvement
• Develop sourcing and cost strategies with key suppliers
• Collaborate on sourcing and cost strategies for capital purchases
• Use data analytics to identify opportunities for optimization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in eng, purchasing, or supply chain
• Or 7+ years in eng, purchasing, contract negotiation, planning, or ops
• Experience negotiating contracts with global suppliers
• Sourcing high-volume manufacturing commodities (injection molding, die casting, CNC)
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to liaise with all levels
• Travel up to 30%; onsite in Redmond, WA
