Sourcing Manager, Mechanical Commodities (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Develop and manage supplier base for Starlink satellites and ground stations
• Provide weekly status updates and escalate to management as needed
• Train and mentor team for continuous improvement
• Create sourcing and cost-management strategies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Analyze production equipment and use data analytics to identify cost, space, and process optimization
• Build and own project budgets focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain
• 7+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or production planning
• Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing global suppliers
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing commodities (injection molding, CNC)
• Ability to prioritize and communicate with internal customers
• Based in Redmond, WA; onsite; travel up to 30%
