Sourcing Manager, Mechanical Commodities (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Develop and manage supply base for Starlink sourcing
• Provide weekly status reports and escalate when needed
• Train and mentor the team for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with key suppliers on sourcing and cost strategies
• Work with internal stakeholders on capital purchases and consumables
• Analyze production equipment for cost and efficiency opportunities using data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain
• 7+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or production planning
• Experience negotiating contracts with global suppliers
• Sourcing high-volume manufacturing commodities (injection molding, stamping, die cast, CNC)
• Strong written and verbal communications across internal teams
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable in fast-moving environments
