Sourcing Manager, OPEX (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for assigned category
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals for material
• Track high-risk components and supplier delivery performance
• Create sourcing strategies for mechanical custom and COTS hardware
• Develop a preferred supplier network to minimize cost and lead time
• Manage outsource fabrication projects and vendor performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in purchasing/procurement or 9+ years engineering in lieu of degree
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, BOMs, work orders, and purchase orders
• Forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis across MRO and VMI
• Strong data analysis skills: Excel, SQL, and PowerBI
• APICS certification, Six Sigma, or similar
• Effective written and verbal communications with cross-functional teams
