Sourcing RFQ Engineer

📋 Description

• Analyze technical drawings and 3D CAD models in English to understand specifications, dimensions
• Calculate manufacturing costs, including raw materials, machining hours, labor intensity, and
• Recommend suitable manufacturing processes based on part geometry, material properties, production
• Review 2D drawings and 3D models to evaluate manufacturability and provide design-for-manufacturing
• Prepare, organize, and clarify requests for quotation (RFQs) in collaboration with Sales and

🎯 Requirements

• Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process
• At least 6 years of experience in metalworking, mechanical engineering, or a closely related
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes, including turning, milling, CNC machining, electrical
• Knowledge of post-processing techniques, including polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing
• Understanding of the properties and processing requirements of metals, plastics, and composite
• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills, with expert-level proficiency in assessing
