Space Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and design technical capabilities for space domain apps.
• Collaborate with tech, growth, and sales to translate needs into data/software products.
• Build scalable, high-performance solutions using astrodynamics and AI.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on roadmap on time and budget.
• Communicate progress with stakeholders through concise technical writing and demos.
• Shape product roadmap with the Slingshot team and mitigate risks.

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• 6+ years in senior engineering leadership roles (space industry preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or STEM with focus on astrodynamics, space systems, modeling & simulation, or MBSE
• Technical expertise in space systems, systems engineering, and software development
• Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, Kanban or equivalent methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to deliver technical roadmaps and manage risks
