Spacecraft Vehicle Manufacturing Engineer

📋 Description

• Support spacecraft Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) for Momentus satellite bus programs.
• Develop, own, and maintain spacecraft manufacturing plans, including AI&T build sequences and work instructions.
• Define tooling strategies, MGSE, and production methodologies.
• Bridge design, manufacturing, test, and quality to ensure scalable, compliant production.
• Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and ensure production system readiness for builds.
• Mentor engineers and technicians; drive best practices for scalable spacecraft production.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15 years in aerospace or space manufacturing.
• Experience in spacecraft AI&T or complex electromechanical system integration.
• Manufacturing process development: work instructions, routing, build sequencing.
• CAD modeling; fixture/tool design; vendor fabrication support.
• GD&T, tolerance analysis, and metrology knowledge.
• AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systems experience.
