Special Education or General Education Teacher

📋 Description

• Teach all subjects in remote or in-person classrooms.
• Provide a differentiated learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff to yield positive results for students.
• Receive campus support from staff and personalize learning.
• Provide a social-emotional learning environment.
• Maintain a classroom of about 10 students with paraprofessional support.

🎯 Requirements

• IL PEL with LBS1 or other cert; willing to obtain LBS1.
• Flexible to teach multiple grade levels as populations change.
• Ability to teach across all basic instructional areas.
• Ability to work with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties.
• Flexible, team-oriented and creative problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; clear writing and speaking.
