Special Education Paraprofessional (26-27)

📋 Description

• Plan and deliver lessons for individuals and small groups targeting IEP goals
• Provide in-the-moment behavior support and coaching; respond to crises
• Analyze data to track progress on IEP goals and assist with progress reports
• Build relationships by collaborating with special ed teachers, admin, and families
• Support literacy development and culturally responsive instruction
• Address socio-emotional needs of scholars

🎯 Requirements

• AA degree required (BA preferred)
• Two years of college: 72 quarter hours or 48 semester hours
• Passing score on Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment
• At least 2 years of experience with students and classroom management
• High behavioral and academic expectations for all students
• Knowledge of child development and practices for high-need students
