Special Police Officer (Part-Time/Seasonal)

📋 Description

• Ensure safety of employees and patrons at MSE venues.
• Patrol premises to deter intrusions and secure doors, windows, gates.
• Monitor entry and authorize admission to prevent theft.
• Detain individuals when necessary for offenses observed.
• Maintain 24/7 availability; essential personnel at all times.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities; incident logs.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Security, law enforcement, military, or life safety experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DC Special Police Officer License within 14 days of hire.
• Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certifications preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication for public interaction and report writing.
• Availability to work 20-25 hours per week; On Call flexibility.
