Specialist, EHS Staff

📋 Description

• Assists in the development and implementation of strategic programs, plans, policies and procedures
• Interprets, communicates and implements programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
• Implements and leads EHS programs and initiatives including hazard identification/risk assessment
• Investigates incidents and injuries to determine root cause; contributes to analysis and reporting
• Develops and delivers EHS training on general safety topics.
• Collaborates with colleagues across the internal EHS network to identify best practice

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma plus 10 years of EHS relevant experience, or Associate Degree and Advanced
• Professional EHS or Engineering certification is preferred.
• Working experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, interacting
• Development of practical, applicable standards and/or policies that meet business objectives.
• Technical expertise in EHS functions as well as technical writing and business communications.
• Ability to actively listen, build and maintain effective working relationships and resolve conflict.
