Specimen Management Associate

📋 Description

• Process incoming specimens, capture relevant data, and document deviations
• Maintain and document chain of custody from box opened until next service destination
• Ensure appropriate storage, destruction, and shipping of samples
• Receive shipments from couriers and unpack shipments, maintaining appropriate temperature
• Enter and control subject demographics and visit details into the LIMS system
• Ensure specimen quality and document deviations in LIMS or paper log

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Professional or Technical degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Minimum 2 years in a production environment, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or
• Minimum 2 years of experience with enterprise-grade application (LIMS preferred)
• Proven track record as a successful team player
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
