SQF Auditor

📋 Description

• Plan and conduct SQF audits (initial, surveillance, and recertification) according to SQF Institute
• Review food safety plans, HACCP systems, prerequisite programs, and documentation
• Assess GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, traceability, supplier approval, and food defense
• Interview management and operational staff, and gather objective evidence through document review
• Document nonconformities accurately, validate corrective actions, and communicate findings to
• Complete audit reports and related records on time and in line with certification body requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Active SQF Auditor certification (or the ability to obtain it)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or auditing in food
• Solid knowledge of the SQF Code, GFSI benchmarking requirements, HACCP principles, and GMPs
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, including FSMA requirements (Preventive Controls, Produce Safety
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits, and meet tight deadlines
