Sr. Accountant

📋 Description

• Review asset level reporting prepared by asset level accountants.
• Prepare investment-level financial statements and GAAP adjustments.
• Account for investment debt, property taxes, insurance payables and accruals.
• Assist with real estate investment and debt schedules for valuations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and analytic reviews.
• Monitor cash balances and liquidity needs in investment structures.

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in accounting or finance (BA or BS).
• 3+ years of GAAP accounting experience.
• Preferably in Real Estate, Private Equity or Capital Projects.
• Experience with fixed assets and capitalization policies.
• Understanding of ASC 970 and ASC 360.
• CPA preferred; Big 4 or public accounting preferred.
