Sr. Accountant

📋 Description

• Support the monthly financial close process and provide backup coverage for other accounting team
• Become cross-trained on close procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, and other core
• Reconcile general ledger accounts with project ledgers, investigate variances, and maintain
• Manage the Accounts Payable function and contribute to efficient day-to-day finance operations.
• Partner with program and contracts teams to develop bases of estimates, supporting documentation
• Assess anticipated Cost Accounting Standards coverage and obligations and lead the development and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with Cost Accounting Standards in a government contracting environment
• Experience supporting monthly financial statement close, general ledger reconciliations, cost
• Experience implementing or supporting the implementation of accounting software and financial
• Strong Excel skills combined with analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, improve processes, and manage multiple priorities in a
