Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist, Technology

📋 Description

• Process and review high-volume, complex invoices for technology and telecom vendors, including
• Ensure invoices are coded to the correct general ledger account, spend category, cost center
• Ensure expenses are handled correctly across one-time costs, prepaids, amortization and capital
• Compare invoices to contracts, renewal terms, expected or usage-based charges, service dates
• Monitor recurring expenses such as software subscriptions and cloud services
• Complete monthly AP and assigned account reconciliations, including prepaid expenses, invoice

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, including experience processing
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls and basic accounting principles
• Experience with an ERP or financial system such as Workday, Yardi, Oracle or SAP
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and working with larger financial files
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to independently research invoice, payment and allocation issues and work them through

• Expected pay rate of $85,000-$92,000 plus 10% annual target bonus
