Sr. Chemical Texturing Equipment Engineer, Solar Cells (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Own wet chemical texturing and preclean tools for silicon HJT solar cells at scale.
• Collaborate with Texturing Process Engineering to ensure tool performance and uptime.
• Own hardware for tool availability, stability, and scale-up to meet goals.
• Lead production equipment for internal solar cell lines for Starlink satellites.
• Drive 24/7 high-volume manufacturing readiness and equipment reliability.
• Enable high efficiency solar cells for Starlink satellites and Starship missions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on experience owning chemical process equipment in high-volume semiconductor or solar manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in chemical delivery, wet processing equipment, pumps, filtration, and automation.
• Experience with heterojunction (HJT) silicon solar cell manufacturing equipment.
• Lead equipment installations/qualifications and drive uptime in 24/7 production.
• Proficiency with statistical tools (JMP, Minitab) and reliability engineering principles.
