Sr. Claim Recovery Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage recovery files from initial review through resolution, identifying opportunities to recover
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance adjusters, and plan participants to identify potential
• Contact insurance carriers to obtain claim details, including claim numbers, adjuster information
• Contact attorneys and adjusters to obtain case updates, negotiate recovery matters, and support
• Develop familiarity with relevant case law and use subrogation and reimbursement resources
• Communicate with health benefit plan sponsors, employers, and claims administrators by telephone

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or higher preferred
• One to three years of experience in subrogation, claims recovery, reimbursement, or related field
• Understanding of recovery opportunities, reimbursement processes, insurance coverage
• Ability to assess recovery potential and make sound decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Research and analytical skills
