Sr. Clinical Development Engineer – Ion

📋 Description

• Solve complex, multidisciplinary problems with significant program impact.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Medical Office, and Product Management to define and validate
• Lead cross-functional teams in preclinical/tissue evaluations and endoluminal therapeutic
• Develop evaluation strategies, characterize products, assess tissue effects, and mitigate clinical
• Mentor junior team members and guide evaluation/launch planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical users to understand clinical needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4 year degree & Master’s in Engineering, Biology, or related field; PhD a plus
• 15+ years in medical device industry
• 10+ years in clinical development and preclinical evaluation
• Expert in tissue and/or Thermal domains; strong understanding of complex engineering systems
• Experience with pre-clinical model development and validation of Class III products
• Cross-functional collaboration experience; travel up to 15% (nice to have)
