Sr. Commercial HVAC Service Tech

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair large-tonnage chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled), incl. centrifugal, screw, and scroll configurations.
• Troubleshoot and program DDC/BAS building controls systems to optimize performance.
• Commission and start up chiller and control systems, optimizing for peak efficiency.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

🎯 Requirements

• Active TDLR HVAC Journeyman License (Texas).
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience with heavy chiller systems.
• Demonstrated experience with BAS/DDC controls platforms.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting across low and high voltage systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight and hold a valid Texas driver’s license.
