Sr. Commercial Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Identify, build, and demonstrate innovative solutions for high-visibility Smartsheet customers.
• Lead technical sales engagements; summarize requirements and design solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions to inform sales and solution delivery strategy.
• Partner with Sales, Product, CS, and Services to drive revenue and customer experience.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Smartsheet products, services, and competitors.
• Occasional travel to customer sites and events as a technical SME.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years as PreSales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or related in SaaS/enterprise B2B.
• Critical thinking, growth mindset, and ability to analyze complex problems.
• Experience with CWM, DAM, MAM, ECM, WCM, CMS, and PIM.
• Strong technical skills in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
• Consultative problem solving and solution positioning experience.
• Excellent communication; adapt style for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ownership in cross-functional work supporting the customer journey.
• Experience leveraging AI in sales cycles.
