Sr. Counsel, Privacy Compliance Program Lead

📋 Description

• Own day-to-day operation of the privacy program.
• Define priorities and track KPIs; report on health and maturity.
• Lead data subject rights, data mapping (ROPA), records of processing.
• Draft/update DPAs, SCCs, and data-transfer instruments in contracts.
• Monitor global privacy laws and advise on regulatory responses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years legal experience; 5+ years in privacy program work.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy laws.
• Experience with DPIAs/PIAs, ROPA, data mapping, vendor risk management.
• Strong judgment, cross-functional leadership, and communication skills.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school; active state bar; privacy certifications preferred.

• Pay Range Zone 2: $219,800 – $302,300 USD
• Zone 3: $207,600 – $285,450 USD
