Sr. Counsel, Product

📋 Description

• Provide product counsel on data protection and tech transactions.
• Exercise business/legal judgment; escalate when needed.
• Develop processes to improve product counseling.
• Deliver end-to-end product counsel from ideation to end of life.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Draft and update product/service agreements, incl. DPAs/BAAs.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience at top firm/in-house; 2+ years in product/privacy/IP.
• Experience with AI, FedRAMP, or payments is a plus.
• Experience with platform services for business customers is a plus.
• Deep understanding of cloud/software tech; ability to learn product tech quickly.
• Technical background (engineering/hard science) or strong product understanding.
• State bar membership required.
