Sr. Credit Risk Analyst

📋 Description

• Develop credit and fraud strategies using data and ML to optimize risk decisions.
• Design A/B tests and evaluate risk vs customer experience trade-offs.
• Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering to implement strategies and validate results.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses related to risk management, product, and operations.
• Analyze portfolio performance by granular segment; identify trends.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to Risk Management and Prosper community.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Engineering, or Economics.
• 3+ yrs with a Masters or 5+ yrs with a Bachelors in credit risk, fraud, or data science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; DBT and Looker experience a plus.
• Excellent communication to explain technical topics to leadership.
• Knowledge of segmentation, statistical procedures, and financial analytics tools.
