Sr. Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to drive growth with data.
• Identify opportunities, define metrics, and turn questions into analytics.
• Build scalable frameworks, including LTV and retention models, for growth.
• Design, run, and interpret A/B tests using causal inference.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for key metrics in a hybrid San Mateo setting.
• Translate analyses into clear narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in quantitative field (stats, CS, econ, eng).
• 5+ years of data science experience.
• Strong track record in designing and interpreting A/B tests with causal inference.
• SQL and Python or R; experience with large datasets and data viz tools.
• Translate data into actionable exec-level recommendations.
• Strong analytical mindset; navigate ambiguity and uncover insights.
