Sr. Electrical Commissioning Technician

📋 Description

• Electrical commissioning of data center power systems including MV/LV distribution, switchgear
• Point-to-point wiring checks, functional testing, calibration, and system integration verification.
• Troubleshooting during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Develop and execute commissioning test procedures and documentation per project specs.
• Coordinate energization sequences with EPCs, OEMs, and SpaceXAI engineers for integrated testing.
• Ensure safety, LOTO, and quality standards; maintain accurate as-built docs and test records.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in electrical commissioning or field technician roles in data centers or large facilities.
• Experience with 480V systems, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, protective relays; data center power infra.
• Experience with commissioning test equipment (meggers, multimeters, relay test sets, PQ analyzers).
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, NETA; able to read electrical drawings and one-line diagrams.
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent; willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends as needed.
• Preferred: hyperscale data center or mission-critical project experience; NETA Level II or
