Sr. Engineering Manager, AI Platform

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a 7-10 engineer team building services for Redpanda Agentic Data Plane
• Own end-to-end delivery for your team's roadmap: scoping, prioritization, and execution
• Maintain operational excellence: incident response, on-call, SLOs, day-2 ops
• Provide career development, coaching, and performance feedback
• Hire, onboard, and retain engineers; participate in interviews and calibrations
• Lead a team across Warsaw and remote across EMEA with async-first practices

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering, enterprise SaaS
• 3+ years managing highly technical engineering teams
• Cloud infra expertise: AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, distributed systems
• Experience leading distributed teams across timezones
• Nice to have: Golang, Linux, data streaming/AI infra
• English communication and technical leadership
