Sr. Fluids Engineer, Production (Starship)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and commission fluid systems for Starship production.
• Size systems and select components from hand calculations, then prove design with testing.
• Own system from concept through design reviews, builds, testing, and handoff.
• Define system operations and controls, partner with automation team for monitoring.
• Support critical vehicle test operations and provide troubleshooting support.
• Develop and maintain detailed timelines to capture and communicate project progress.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years of fluid systems design, analysis, and build experience.
• Experience sizing piping, valves, regulators, and relief devices.
• Experience creating 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and schematics.
• Experience deploying equipment into factory or test environments.
• Experience with high-pressure gas, cleanliness control, PLCs, or FEA.
