Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade solutions; design reference architectures and ML/AI integrations.
• Guide strategic customers through end-to-end big data projects (design, build, deploy).
• Bootstrap or implement customer projects to drive adoption of Databricks.
• Own architecture; ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, architects, and customers to deliver engagement components.
• Travel to customers up to 20% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Cloud knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP; expert in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.
