Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Retail

📋 Description

• Lead architecture and design for production data and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Architect reference architectures, data ingestion, and ML/AI model integration.
• Embed with customer teams to deliver impact and drive adoption.
• Own the architecture to ensure security, scalability, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to meet commitments.
• Travel to customers about 20% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals.
• CI/CD for production deployments; knowledge of MLOps and ML/AI models.
• Design end-to-end data architectures combining pipelines, ML models, and UIs.
