Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Retail

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade solutions, reference architectures, apps, data ingestion, and ML/AI integration.
• Guide strategic customers in end-to-end big data and AI app deployment with customer input.
• Guide customers on architecture and design; enable Databricks adoption.
• Own architecture decisions; ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with needs and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, architects, and customer teams to deliver engagement components.
• Contribute accelerators and best practices to scale impact across accounts.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; expert in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing via Apache Spark.
• CI/CD for production deployments.
• MLOps knowledge: ML/AI models and AI APIs.
• Willingness to travel ~20%; Databricks Certification.
