Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) - Retail

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade customer projects: data ingestion and ML models.
• Architect reference architectures and end-to-end data/AI solutions.
• Guide customers on architecture; enable adoption of Databricks.
• Ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with Databricks best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customer stakeholders to deliver engagements.
• Travel to customers about 20% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.
• End-to-end data architectures combining pipelines, ML models, and UIs.
• Experience delivering technical projects with scope, timelines, and outcomes.
