Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer - Public Sector

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade data/AI solutions for public sector customers on Databricks platform
• Own architecture, design decisions; end-to-end data eng, AI, app development
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and developer relations; deliver with customer empathy
• Embed with customer teams; train and integrate with client systems
• Provide reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices at scale
• Travel to customers ~20% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; expertise in at least one
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs
