Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer-Retail

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade customer projects, architectures, data ingestion, and ML/AI integration.
• Own architecture, design decisions; ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Work with Eng, PM, Architect, and Customer teams to deliver engagement components.
• Embed with customer teams across ICs to executives to deliver impact.
• Provide product and implementation feedback for rapid issue resolution.
• Create reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices to scale impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software eng.
• Comfortable coding in Python, Scala, JavaScript, TypeScript; modern frameworks.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with expertise in one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
• End-to-end data architectures blending pipelines, ML models, and UIs.
• Experience delivering technical projects; managing scope and timelines.
• Documentation and whiteboarding skills.
• Experience with enterprise clients and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Databricks Certification.
