Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer-Retail

📋 Description

• Lead production-grade customer projects and reference architectures.
• Design and build data ingestion and ML/AI model integration solutions.
• Guide strategic customers through end-to-end big data projects.
• Own architecture by driving secure, scalable designs per best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, architect, and customer teams to deliver.
• Travel to customers about 20% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, JavaScript or TypeScript; familiar with modern frameworks.
• Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP; expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• CI/CD for production deployments; MLOps knowledge.
• Design and deployment of end-to-end data architectures with pipelines, ML models, and apps.
