📋 Description

• Develop battery chemistries and materials to qualify suppliers.
• Manage sourcing and risk for critical materials (Li, Ni, Co, graphite).
• Evaluate battery cell manufacturers on performance, yield, and quality.
• Drive supply chain strategies for long-lead cells and cell-to-pack tech.
• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices; forecast demand.
• Track supplier performance and communicate decisions to leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree with 9+ years in engineering/purchasing/supply chain.
• APICS certification, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Experience with MRP/ERP, BOMs, work orders, and POs.
• Forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis.
• Excel, SQL, and PowerBI for data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
