Design, simulate and model electro-optical blocks for silicon photonics
Design RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems
Derive specs for Photonics IC and Electrical IC subsystems
Develop Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF/Microwave circuits in SiGe or CMOS
Collaborate with system architects, DSP, electro-optics, and ASICs to partition HW/SW
Perform IC floor planning, layout and parasitic modeling

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science
5+ years of photonics or electro-optical IC design
Master's or PhD in electrical/computer engineering with electro-optics IC emphasis
Simulation tools: Spectre, ADS, HFSS, Momentum, Lumerical, COMSOL
Wideband SerDes design for >100 Gbps and tens of GHz BW
ITAR/compliance; able to work long hours as needed
