Sr. Lead Engineer - Customer Agent

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, design, and rollout of Customer Agent core platform and AI capabilities.
• Drive tech strategy and long-term evolution for conversational AI serving millions.
• Build and ship complex AI features balancing speed, quality, reliability.
• Partner with product, design, data science, GTM, and engineering to define direction.
• Establish engineering practices for observability, testing, monitoring, and experimentation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale.
• Significant experience designing and shipping customer-facing AI-powered products or agentic systems.
• Strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals for scale, latency, and reliability.
• Expertise in modern AI architectures: LLM apps, retrieval, agent workflows, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails.
• Proven ability to lead complex multi-quarter technical initiatives involving multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, product, design, and executive audiences.
