Sr Machine Learning Engineer I

📋 Description

• Research and develop advanced multi-sensor fusion and multi-target tracking.
• Design probabilistic state estimation models for radar, RF, optical sensing.
• Implement and evaluate Kalman filters (EKF/UKF), particle and Bayesian filters.
• Conduct simulations and benchmarking across varied conditions.
• Analyze real-world datasets to quantify uncertainty and improve robustness.
• Partner with software engineers to productionize validated algorithms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, EE, Applied Math, or related field — or equivalent hands-on ML experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing and deploying ML systems in real-world applications.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Experience deploying ML systems in production environments (cloud, edge, or embedded).
• Solid understanding of statistics, model evaluation, and performance trade-offs.
• Familiarity with MLOps: CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring.
• Experience working with large, noisy, or multi-modal datasets.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset aligned with Axon's values.
