Sr Mainframe Developer

📋 Description

• Develop and implement technical solutions for healthcare claims applications by translating
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ.
• Follow established coding standards, technical guidelines, and development best practices
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to deliver
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore development team members and coordinate
• Act as a key technical contact for complex issues and support effective resolution of application

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in mainframe application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ; COBOL, DB2, MQ, and CICS are
• Experience with healthcare claims adjudication processes and a strong understanding of related
• Solid knowledge of code migration, release management, deployment, validation, and backout
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex
• Strong understanding of application development and maintenance within enterprise mainframe
