Sr. Manager, Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations
• Manage close activities, workflows, and approvals using accounting systems, proactively identifying
• Oversee financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring consistency between reporting
• Analyze actual-to-budget and forecast variances, providing meaningful insights to support
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit timelines
• Monitor audit requests and outstanding items, collaborating with Accounting, Tax, regional teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred; an MBA or other advanced degree is considered an advantage.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 or more years of experience
• Demonstrated experience overseeing full-cycle accounting close processes and external audits
• Experience in manufacturing or the building products industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle JDE is preferred; experience with FloQast, OneStream, Hubble, FAS, or LAS
