📋 Description

• Build, lead, and mentor a sourcing team for datacenter compute components.
• Define multi-year commodity strategies with engineering and vendors.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, and performance.
• Orchestrate demand across SpaceXAI and align roadmaps with key vendors.
• Negotiate major agreements on pricing, volume, technology access, and delivery.
• Drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in supply chain, procurement, or commodity mgmt.
• 14+ years in related field in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years global supply chain/procurement focus on compute hardware.
• 4+ years people management and leading sourcing teams.
• Technical understanding of datacenter compute architectures (GPUs, CPUs, storage).
• Experience with hyperscale AI infrastructure suppliers.
