Sr. Manager, Gas Power Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of natural gas-fired power projects.
• Primary contact for stakeholders: internal teams, contractors, regulators.
• Manage lifecycle: feasibility, permitting, design, procurement, construction, testing.
• Review design packages; ensure codes, regs, standards.
• Develop budgets, schedules, risk plans; coordinate external consultants.
• Ensure HSE across all phases; advise on gas turbines, HRSGs, and BOP.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in power generation; gas-fired tech (simple/combined cycle or cogeneration).
• PE license or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Civil Eng; MS preferred.
• Strong gas turbine knowledge; thermodynamics; plant ops; system integration.
• Proven track record managing large, complex engineering/construction projects.
• Office in Salt Lake City or Dana Point 3 days/week; travel up to 20%.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
