Sr. Manager, Legal India

📋 Description

• Lead a team of three counsel handling channel, cloud/SaaS, procurement, NDAs.
• Provide APJ Compliance, Employment, Litigation, and Investigations support.
• Collaborate with the global Legal Department and Elastic stakeholders.
• Support APJ and Global Legal on ad hoc projects as needed.
• Help build workflows between Legal and other teams; explore AI tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years drafting/negotiating tech contracts in India (in-house or law firm)
• Experience with India/APJ compliance, employment, litigation & investigations (10–15% of work)
• Ability to synthesize directions balancing legal risks with business strategy
• Self-starting, proactive, driven; prioritize and recalibrate advice as priorities shift
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Prior experience representing high-growth companies is strongly preferred
