📋 Description

• Own the technical roadmap and strategic vision for Pinterest’s next-generation recommendation
• Champion state-of-the-art ML techniques to deliver innovations in recommendation tech.
• Transition ML research into production-ready systems impacting core metrics.
• Lead a team of ML researchers and engineers focused on recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with Core Engineering, Ads, Infrastructure, Content, and Data Science teams to scale

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of post-grad ML experience on web-scale data; 3+ years of people management.
• Track record delivering high-impact initiatives with data-driven influence.
• Experience mentoring software and ML engineers; strong communication skills.
• MS/PhD in CS, ML, NLP, Statistics, or related fields.
• Nice to have: publications at ML/RecSys conferences; experience with LLM/Agentic workflows.
