Sr. Manager, Quality Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor 10+ engineers, fostering ownership.
• Define quality strategy using DORA metrics (deployment freq, MTTR).
• Guide teams in automation frameworks, contract-based testing, resilience.
• Oversee AI-augmented testing rollout (LLM-driven tests).
• Establish data integrity and system reliability standards at scale.
• Partner with Eng, Product, and PM to bake quality into architecture.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years managing distributed teams of 10+ engineers.
• Track record building modern testing strategies and automation frameworks.
• Deep experience with data systems: Postgres, Clickhouse, Trino, Spark, Iceberg, Kinesis, Kafka.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures.
• Strong familiarity with AI-driven tooling for evaluating AI-generated tests and code quality.
• BSCS degree or equivalent; MSCS preferred; strong communication.
