Sr. Materials Engineer, AI Satellites (Starmind)

📋 Description

• Own lifecycle of materials for on‑orbit compute and satellite hardware.
• Develop high‑reliability microelectronics packages, cooling, and radiators.
• Work across process, packaging, mechanical, and thermal engineering.
• Support design of onboard compute electronics, memory, and networking.
• Lead qualification and testing for materials and processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in microelectronics device research or manufacturing.
• Advanced degree in materials science or related field (preferred).
• Experience in hardware, robotics, automation, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for process data analysis.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, SPC, and manufacturing traceability.
