Sr. Operations Engineer, Starship Production (Starbase)

📋 Description

• Develop factory plans: line layouts, building needs, resources, and part flow.
• Own floor layouts, capacity studies, and product flow analyses for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate to develop production strategies to reduce risk and improve quality, output, safety.
• Define processes for high-volume production: MES, inventory, traceability, maintenance.
• Serve as SME on Starship production processes for data gathering and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and schedule work with SpaceX teams and subcontractors.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, software, or related engineering.
• 5+ years in production engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project management.
• High-volume production experience (automotive or similar).
• CAD: AutoCAD, Revit, Siemens NX.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Lean principles and Six Sigma concepts.
