Sr Play Expansion & Acquisition Manager

📋 Description

• Partner with Commercial org to scale play in expanded retail and experiential verticals.
• Develop scalable program frameworks for Magic play in new environments.
• Own strategy and execution across Magic play for new-to-play acquisition, from concept to launch.
• Establish metrics for acquisition/expansion programs; use data-driven insights to optimize.
• Serve as liaison between central Play Team and international teams; ensure alignment.
• Build regional feedback loops to surface market insights and inform global play strategy.
• Ensure expansion aligns with long-term ecosystem health, balancing growth and retention.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Organized Play, and Regions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven success launching or scaling programs in retail, experiential, or group-focused environments.
• Experience crafting and executing acquisition strategies with measurable business impact.
• Strong strategic thinking paired with operational excellence and follow-through.
• Ability to influence without direct authority in a global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling.
